Reamed Interlocking Intrameduilary Nailing in Treating Tibial and Femoral Fracture

Abstract
To report the experience in the use of reamed interlocking intramedullary nails. Methods: 18 tibial and femoral fracture were treated with reamed interlocking intrameduUary nails they included open tibial fractures (5 cases) and close tibial and femoral fractures (13 cases). Results: All fractures healed within 6 months and showed good knee and ankle joint functions. Conclusion: Reamed interlocking intrameduUary nail could be used to treat diaphyseal fractures effectively.
