The significance of compiling MEBT in state level textbook and its influence on medical science development

Abstract

Objective: A newly published textbook of state levelSurgery of Integrated Western and Chinese Medicine》makes a detailed introduction of moist exposed burn therapy ( MEBT) in respects of etiology and pathology of burns, i-dentification of burn depth, principle of burn treatment and burn wound management, etc. Moist exposed bum therapy also called bum regenerative medicine and skin regenerative medical technique was developed out of the unique Chinese burn treating technique, on the basis of Chinese medical theory and technology. Now it comes to the teaching platform of medical college. The core of this new therapy is to mobilize the potential of regenerative cells (in situ stem cells) to cultivate skin. It is a powerful weapon that medical college students can use to serve their patients and make more and more contribution to the health of human beings. This paper makes a detailed explanation of the significance of compiling this therapy into the textbook of higher medical education.
