Abstract
Objective:To study the application of 3D-CT on Four-fold classification on the treatment of tibial plateau fractures.Methods: From January 2009 to January 2012,38 fractures in 35 patients with tibial plateau fractures were treated in our department.Their clinical data were studied retrospectively.There were 20 males and 15 females.Their average age was 43 years with a span from 25 to 61 years.23 fractures were on the left side and 9 the right side,and 3 patients suffered bilateral tibial plateau fractures.They all underwent anteroposterior and lateral radiography and 3D-CT scan.Their fracture type was according to the Four-fold classification system.Results: According to Hohl system score only 2 patients in these were not acquired the satisfy result.The excellent rate was 94.7%.But without the fault mistake on the diagnosis and treatment in clinical work.Conclusion:Although it is expensive,3D-CT should serve as a routine examination before operation because it has significant effects on treatment plan and Four-fold classification of tibial plateau fractures.
