Predictive analytics using machine learning is transforming healthcare by providing valuable insights into patient care, operational efficiency, and cost reduction. Using machine learning algorithms, healthcare practitioners can analyse massive amounts of patient data, identify trends, and predict future health outcomes better to serve their patients through personalised care and disease management. This paper provides an overview of predictive analytics using machine learning in healthcare, including its applications in predicting patient outcomes, optimising healthcare operations, and developing new drugs and therapies. Concerns over patient data privacy and security, algorithmic bias, and the necessity for educated people to interpret results are just some of the issues the article addresses concerning the application of predictive analytics in healthcare.
