Abstract
ChatGPT has fundamentally transformed education by utilizing machine learning. Through the integration of machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) algorithms, ChatGPT can interact with students in real-time, providing personalized and interactive learning experiences tailored to their individual needs. This study presents a state-of-the-art analysis of ChatGPT integration in education based on the examination of 13 articles. The article selection adheres to inclusion and exclusion criteria, including publication date, methodology, language, and subject. The study results demonstrate that ChatGPT enhances student motivation by facilitating access to information, providing instant responses to questions, assisting in essay and report writing, and improving linguistic skills. Teachers can use ChatGPT to create courses, create educational exercises, activities, evaluations, and quizzes. Additionally, the use of ChatGPT in education presents various limitations and risks, such as data reliability, the risk of personal information confidentiality, limitations in generating educational content, the need for continuous teacher training and an increase in cheating and plagiarism. Although ChatGPT facilitates learning, it can never replace the crucial role of the teacher.
