Abstract
The relevance of studying the attitude of medical students to artificial intelligence technology (hereinafter referred to as AI) is determined by the introduction of the AI systems not only into the educational process, but also into clinical and diagnostic practice. The hypothesis about the existence of a connection between the practices of information behavior, reflecting the content of the information culture of the individual and preference in defining the AI, was confirmed. The aim is to characterize the relationship between the practices of using various sources of information as a key component of the information culture of medical students and their understanding of the AI. The results of a survey of first- and second-year students of Tyumen State Medical University (n = 615) are presented. The assumption about the high role of the Internet not only as a source of educational information, but also as a way to overcome difficult life situations was confirmed.
