Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is gaining popularity in modern business and everyday life and is increasingly applied in healthcare settings. AI can help healthcare providers with various clinical tasks, including patient care, administration and many different ways. However, the ways that they support might be pretty diverse. While some articles on AI in healthcare suggest that AI can perform as well as or better than humans at specific tasks, such as diagnosing illness, it will be long before AI replaces people in a wide range of medical vocations. This article reviews the use of AI in different medical settings.
