• What is currently known about this topic? • Thirty percent of college students are using Artificial intelligence to complete homework in 2023 and these results are likely much greater today ( Firth, 2023 ). There is lack of instructor-led AI assignments in nursing education, unless it is in the didactic setting. • What the paper adds to the existing knowledge? • This AI assignment is the first of its kind to consider using AI as a tool while comparing it to the tools students are already provided to complete homework. • How the information in your manuscript can be applied to practice? • Other educators can use this information to build AI assignments in their own courses.
