Abstract
This chapter draws from the analysis of the body of research and literature already in existence that offers an overview of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in higher education, focusing on its integration in reshaping teaching and learning dynamics by facilitating personalized and compelling learning experiences. Applying the literature review, the chapter explores AI's role with intelligent learning tools proving crucial in improving user intent to use. The chapter looks at how AI has developed in educational contexts, looks at different ways that AI is used in teaching and learning, and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of integrating AI. The chapter provides ideas on AI's influence on educational paradigms and highlights its potential to revolutionize learning and teaching processes.
