In the previous chapter, a case study was provided on Cyril, a content producer specializing in technology and gaming. This chapter delves into the impact of AI on the process of content production for Effie, a midwife residing in Nsuta, a rural community in Ghana. Effia shifted her focus from direct involvement in maternal healthcare to utilizing AI and content creation techniques for digital advocacy, specifically targeting key obstacles in maternal health education. By employing AI strategically, she has successfully expanded her reach to a diversified global audience, enhanced the visibility of her material, and established several sources of revenue. This chapter explores Effia’s experiences, techniques, and the consequences of her work, emphasizing the promise and ethical use of AI in the field of digital health education.
