Abstract

Abstract The following is a paper that describes a qualitative case study, highlighting its most important stages, the steps taken, and the results obtained through interviews with three engineering students from a differential equations course, conducted during the first semester of 2024. The objective was to analyze how ChatGPT contributes to strengthening the learning process for finding the integrating factor of a non-exact differential equation. It is concluded that ChatGPT provides significant support in understanding this topic in the course.
