Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics are reshaping modern healthcare by enhancing diagnostic accuracy, streamlining clinical workflows, and improving patient outcomes. AI supports early disease detection through advanced medical imaging, predictive analytics, and personalized treatment planning, while also strengthening clinical decision-making with evidence-based insights. Robotics complements these capabilities by enabling minimally invasive surgeries, precision-assisted rehabilitation, automated hospital logistics, and remote patient monitoring. Collectively, these technologies improve efficiency, reduce diagnostic and surgical errors, and extend access to care, particularly through AI-powered telemedicine in underserved regions. Despite these advances, significant challenges persist. Data privacy concerns often arise from the collection, storage, and sharing of sensitive patient information in AI-driven platforms. Algorithmic bias—shaped by uneven data representation—can compromise diagnostic equity and treatment fairness. Addressing these issues requires rigorous data governance frameworks, transparent algorithm design, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards. The integration of AI and robotics into healthcare demonstrates tangible real-world applications, from surgical robotics reducing recovery times to automated triage systems accelerating emergency response. As these technologies continue to evolve, their ethical and responsible implementation will be essential to creating a healthcare ecosystem that is accurate, accessible, and patient-centered.
