A Systematic Review of ChatGPT’s Role in Advancing Research Methodologies Across Education, Healthcare, and Economics

Abstract
This systematic literature review (SLR) investigates the applications, challenges, and future directions of ChatGPT in research domains such as education, healthcare, and economics. Employing a structured methodology, we analyze studies published between 2022 and 2024 from databases including PubMed, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar. Our findings reveal ChatGPT’s potential to enhance learning personalization, clinical decision-making, and economic data analysis. However, challenges such as reliability limitations, ethical concerns, and biases in AI-generated content persist. The review underscores the need for hybrid frameworks, improved transparency, and standardized evaluation metrics to ensure responsible AI integration. By synthesizing empirical evidence, this study provides actionable insights for researchers and practitioners aiming to leverage ChatGPT’s capabilities while addressing its limitations.
