Abstract

In recent years, higher education has emerged as a key area for the active application of artificial intelligence. This study analyzes and organizes findings from both domestic and international literature, highlighting the positive and negative aspects of integrating artificial intelligence into the educational process. The aim of this study is to examine IT students' attitudes toward the use of generative artificial intelligence tools and technologies, using the ChatGPT Large Language Model as a case study. Empirical methods were used with an online survey conducted among IT students. The analysis of the survey results revealed the educational potential of using ChatGPT and a positive attitude toward its application among students. These findings can serve as a foundation for further research into the use of generative artificial intelligence in the training of IT students.
