Abstract
When ethically and thoughtfully applied, AI can support and complement, but not replace, human relationships, particularly in promoting kindness and prosocial behaviors. This approach can strengthen social cohesion, enhance public health, and improve community well-being. Explicitly acknowledging AI's supportive role reinforces the manuscript's ethical positioning and conceptual clarity.
