Abstract
The contribution of the chapter proposes to discern how the implementation of AI in online course delivery impact accessibility and inclusion across the intersection of gender and race? The chapter introduces AI in education, including cutting-edge technology like large language models (LLMs), adaptive learning platforms, and AI-powered tutoring systems. Moreover, Manasi, Panchanadeswarah, Sours, and Lee (2022) believe that AI is a set of algorithms designed with specific language to interact across a well-defined environment. However, the language of the data may stand as an obstacle to the desired goal of global digital learning. “If the original input data carries a bias against a particular group, the algorithms can replicate the human bias and perpetuate the discrimination” (Manasi et al., 2022, p. 296). The proposed chapter will examine research focused on the strategic utilization of AI to give discourse to the accessibility of AI for online learning, the cultural implications of AI use, and the representation of feminism and masculinity in AI.
