Abstract
Rising nurse burnout and increasing workloads affect their performance, impacting healthcare quality. High workload stress and disease transmission risks further strain the staff. Addressing these challenges, our work proposes a robotic system for automated registration, real-time vital sign tracking, and empathetic patient interaction. The system consists of SpO2, heart rate, and temperature sensors connected with a Raspberry Pi. A Python-based chatbot aids the patient with inquiries and engagement. Initial results demonstrate enhanced patient autonomy; remote vitals checking and chatting session, improving efficiency, making our system a promising step toward streamlining hospital workflows and enhancing patient-nurse interaction.
