Abstract

This study explores the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Human Resource Management (HRM), focusing on how AI is reshaping recruitment, selection, performance management, and employee engagement. By adopting a descriptive and exploratory design, and using secondary data from journals, books, and reports, the research highlights the ways AI enhances efficiency, reduces human bias, and supports data driven decision making in HR practices. It also addresses critical challenges such as privacy concerns, ethical dilemmas, skill gaps, and resistance to change. While AI streamlines routine tasks and personalizes HR processes, the study emphasizes the importance of maintaining human judgment, empathy, and fairness in an AI driven environment. The findings suggest that with responsible implementation, AI can lead to smarter, more inclusive, and people centric workplaces. Ultimately, this paper concludes that the successful integration of AI in HR requires not just technological adoption but also strategic alignment with human values and continuous learning.
