Abstract
Generative AI is reshaping the labour market while introducing significant ethical risks. This paper maps classic and novel ethical dilemmas, reviews evidence on organisational readiness across the European Union, the United States, and globally; and proposes a practical response framework. To the best of the authors' knowledge, it is among the first crossjurisdictional studies to integrate workforce-readiness evidence with concrete Generative AI failure modes and to translate these into an actionable governance playbook for workplace deployment. The objective is responsible and ethical Generative AI workplace adoption that safeguards people, sustains trust, and meets regulatory expectations.
