This document provides the canonical definition of the AI Meaning State (AMS), a semantic reference construct within the EntityWorks Standard. The AI Meaning State describes the semantic meaning expressed by an AI system within the System Attribution Boundary (SAB) for a single prompt–response interaction at the point of user encounter. This Definition of Record operates at the definitional layer of the EntityWorks Standard. It establishes a stable analytical reference for describing AI-expressed meaning independent of system internals, interpretation, or evaluation.
