Abstract
Abstract In the realm of library and information services, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are becoming more and more significant since they increase user engagement and efficiency. Additionally, academic library services have been enhanced via Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI). AI-driven tool integration has been shown to transform library services, making them more effective, user-focused, and flexible enough to meet the demands of a wide range of user populations. However, issues including precision, dependability, data privacy, bias in AI algorithms, job displacement, financial difficulties, employee training, and expertise also need to be addressed.
