Abstract
Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming library services by increasing operational efficiency, intelligent information retrieval, and personalized user experiences. AI applications such as predictive analytics, plagiarism detection, research data management, chatbots, and digital preservation tools enable libraries to provide proactive, data-driven, and user-centric services. By automating routine tasks such as cataloging and circulation management, AI allows library professionals to focus more on research support and knowledge accessibility. However, its adoption also raises concerns related to data privacy, ethical issues, algorithmic bias, financial investment, and the need for ongoing staff training. Therefore, while AI strengthens libraries as innovative knowledge centers, its responsible and sustainable implementation is essential to uphold the core values of librarianship, including equal access, intellectual freedom, and user privacy.
