Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) continues to reshape education and workforce readiness, with micro-credentials emerging as valuable tools for validating specialized skills. This study examines the influence of AI-related micro-credentials on the employment designations of Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering graduates. A quantitative correlational design was applied to alumni data, focusing on employment outcomes in relation to AI-focused micro-credentials earned. Results revealed a significant positive relationship between the number of micro-credentials earned and attainment of higher-level job roles. The findings highlight the role of micro-credentials as strong employability signals, bridging academic training and labor market demands. This underscores the importance of integrating micro-credential opportunities into undergraduate programs to strengthen graduate employability in the digital era.
