Abstract

This independent academic talk explains how higher‑education leaders supervise AI systems that influence admissions, advising, assessment, planning, and administrative activity. It identifies ten supervision methods exercised through established leadership roles and organizes them into five areas of responsibility: governance management, academic responsibility, financial control, ethical management, and institutional accountability. Higher education leadership supervises AI use through established responsibilities that guide institutional decision‑making across academic and administrative areas.
